Sexual Addiction Assessment

A proper sexual addiction assessment is the key to beginning a strong recovery program. Our therapists are trained to provide a thorough one on one assessment to determine whether a client is truly struggling with a sex addiction or other mental health issues.

The counselor provide the client with a sexual addiction screening test, reviewing client’s past acting out behaviors, discussion of family history, general physical and mental health, other addictions, family and social history along with the immediate sexual concerns, which brought the patient to treatment. By the end of the assessment a plan is created to begin to manage and direct the most immediate sexual acting out concerns along with any other problems that might be discussed.

Depending on the outcome of the assessment, patients are directed towards group treatment, individual treatment or may be referred on to other agencies.

If you are wanting help with sex addiction, our counseling center provides individual, group, couples, and family counseling for sexual addiction. We also provide counseling and group support for the wife or partner of the sex addict.
